The aim of this article is to update the knowledge of practitioners on the imaging patterns and complications of traumatic brain injury.

Educational Outcomes:
Upon completion of this module practitioners should have a clear understanding of:

  1. Traumatic Subarachnoid Haemorrhage (SAH);
  2. CT and MRI TBI neuroimaging;
  3. Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS);
  4. MRI sensitivity for traumatic brain injury; and
  5. Skull fracture findings.
