Educational Aim:
The aim of this article was to describe the experiences of these isiXhosa-speaking mothers (from poor socio-economic circumstances in the Western Cape province of South Africa) with regard to having, caring for and feeding their preterm infants within the first 6 months of the infant’s life.

Educational Outcomes:
