Educational Aim:

To evaluate the safety, reactogenicity, and humoral and cellular immunogenicity of the M72/AS01 tuberculosis vaccine in people living with well-controlled HIV in a high-burden setting.

Educational Outcomes:
Upon completion of this module practitioners should have a clear understanding of:

1. The safety and reactogenicity profile of the M72/AS01 vaccine in virally suppressed people living with HIV.
2. The humoral and CD4 T-cell immunogenicity responses induced by the vaccine regimen.
3. The impact of baseline IGRA status (latent TB infection) on vaccine immune responses and reactogenicity.
