When purchasing a membership, you will gain access to all the express courses (consisting of clinical and ethics related articles) available on the eCPD® Platform. You have the option to read the material online or download it to read at your leisure. You can easily earn all your required Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Points as per your Professional Board’s requirements. You will have access to the express CPD courses for the duration of your membership.
To obtain your CPD Certificate, a pass mark of 70% is required and you have three attempts to obtain this mark. Once you have successfully passed the assessment, the system automatically generates a CPD certificate and saves it to your CPD Manager for future reference.
If you have opted not to renew your membership then after expiry, you will be unenrolled from any course that you have not completed.
These courses are developed to equip you with specialised knowledge on a variety of topics. These courses are not part of the annual membership and are purchased individually. The cost per course varies based on the topic specialisation, in-depth teaching, presenter, and duration of a course.
We work closely in collaboration with the subject matter expert to ensure the quality of the presentation, and interactivity excellence. Please look at the dropdown menu under 'Specialised courses' to view the selection of courses. Once you have successfully completed the requirements for the individual Specialised Course, your CPD certificate is automatically generated and saved in your CPD Manager for future reference.

eCPD® Healthcare offers organisations / societies / corporates such as health insurance companies, medical associations, or large hospital groups, etc. a significant discount from our standard rates.
The following packages are available:
1. Bulk Discounted Membership
You may be 2 or more healthcare providers who decide to get together and form a group, a small/medium medical practice, or a corporate that wants to offer CPD to your members/employees at a discounted rate. Get access to express and/or specialised
CPD courses at a discounted rate.
If your sponsorship is not renewed after expiry, then you will be unenrolled from any course that you have not completed, obtained a 70% pass mark for or claimed your CPD Certificate for.
There is a discount for groups or corporates are:
- 2-100 people: 5%
- 100> people: custom quote
2. Private Branded Area on Our Site
This package is particularly attractive to corporates who wish to provide their members / employees access to their own branded area on our eCPD® site. There will be an agreed upon number of CPD courses loaded and it is a private space where only your members / employees will have access to your courses. Send us an email at support@ecpd.co.za for a customised solution.
3. Educational Multimedia Hosting
Multimedia recordings can be hosted on our eCPD® platform where you provide access to your members / employees. If the media item needs CPD application, then we can assist with the process. Custom quote.

Payment methods
We offer the following payment options:
1. Online credit card payment
This method will immediately reflect your purchased express course membership. You can then enroll in the courses covered by your membership. eCPD® makes use of PayGate Plus, DPO SA’s, fully managed solution for accepting payments online, to ensure your safety and privacy while shopping online.

eCPD® is a division of African Online Scientific Information Systems (Pty) Ltd t/a AOSIS. This means your credit card payments to eCPD® will show as AOSIS (Pty) Ltd on your bank statement.
2. Direct deposit (EFT)
This method may take a few days to process, depending on where you bank. Your purchased express course membership will become active once the purchase value reflects on our bank statement. Please send us your proof of payment with your reference number provided during purchase to finances@ecpd.co.za.
International clients
We encourage you to pay for your membership via credit card so as not to incur additional bank charges. When paying via electronic funds transfer (EFT) you will be expected to pay the additional bank charges of approximately R150.00.
