The efficacy and safety of methotrexate (MTX) were studied in 102 patients with moderate-severe atopic dermatitis (AD)



The 102 patients with moderate-severe AD were treated with increasing dosages of MTX and 62 cases showed a successful treatment response. MTX was administered orally. The median maintenance dose was 11.7 +/- 2.1 mg per week.
