This study compares the Xpert HPV assay and AmpFire HPV genotyping assay for detecting high-risk human papillomavirus (hrHPV) in women living with HIV, finding good agreement but slightly higher HPV16 detection with AmpFire.

The aim of the study was to analyze the agreement for the detection of high-risk human papillomavirus (hrHPV) between the established Xpert HPV assay and the novel isothermal amplification based AmpFire HPV genotyping assay.
