Educational Objectives

Educational Aim:
The aim of this article is to update the knowledge of practitioners on the role and value of imaging modalities used in prostate cancer.

Educational Outcomes:
Upon completion of this module practitioners should have a clear understanding of:

1. Most common site of distant metastases in prostate cancer;
2. Imaging of distant metastases at initial presentation of prostate cancer;
3. Use of PET/CT in the imaging workup of prostate cancer;
4. Imaging in biochemical recurrence (BCR); and
5. Role of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET/CT.
