Educational Aim:
The aim of this article is to update the knowledge of practitioners on the management of pulmonary nodules.

Educational Outcomes:
Upon completion of this module practitioners should have a clear understanding of:

  1. The general recommendations for managing incidentally discovered pulmonary nodules;

  2. Presence of emphysema and pulmonary fibrosis on a CT image;
  3. Association between age and lung cancer risk;
  4. Dominant factors to predict malignancy risk; and
  5. Patients with multiple nodules
