Educational Aim:
The aim of this article is to explore and describe patients’ with mood disorders lived experiences of group therapy facilitated by psychiatric nurses. To make recommendations to psychiatric nurses to be able to facilitate constructive group therapy to patients with mood disorders.

This article explores and describes patients with mood disorders lived experiences of group therapy facilitated by psychiatric nurses with the aim to provide guidelines for constructive group therapy to patients with mood disorders facilitated by psychiatric nurses. The aim of constructive group therapy to patients with mood disorders is to enhance positive experiences and limit negative experiences of group therapy facilitated by psychiatric nurses.
