The aim of this article is to facilitate allowing ourselves the time to get our emotions in check and adopt a SF mindset may prevent us from emotionally reacting in an unhelpful manner.

  1. Disagreement sharpens all our senses so every word can make a difference; every word can be perceived with double the intensity than in other conversations

  2. If you enter the conversation with the mindset that you can learn from the other person your mindset will be different to what it would be if you entered the conversation thinking the opinions of the other person extremist and dumb
  3. When choosing to take a stand one needs to be respectful and consider the moment and timing.
