The aim of this article was to examine the relationships between physical activities as health behaviors and subjective well-being in older adults.

Educational Outcomes:
Upon completion of this module practitioners should have a clear understanding of:

  1. Participation in specific physical activities were significant factors in assessing subjective well-being in older people
  2. Running, muscle training, taking stairs and taking a bike ride were significant factors for improving subjective well-being in older males
  3. Female older adults who participate in walking, swimming, yoga and dance reported higher scores of subjective well-being.
