BMS is a chronic debilitating disorder characterised by a generalized burning or painful sensation in the mouth. Currently there is no identifiable oral or medical causes, or definitive treatment available for this condition, making it a very challenging task for the clinician to manage, and a frustrating ordeal for the patient.
