Educational Aim:

The aim of this article is to determine the various mental and physical health levels and work experiences of South African physiotherapists during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Educational Outcomes:
Upon completion of this module practitioners should have a clear understanding of:

  1. Describe the mental health of a sample of physiotherapists in South Africa during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  2. Describe the research processes used to investigate the mental health of a sample of physiotherapists in South Africa during the COVID-19 pandemic 
  3. Recognise the importance of developing psycho-educational intervention programmes in the workplace following the pandemic
